ABOUT ME:
In 2018, I took a bold step and opened my own beauty salon with no prior experience. I partnered with a friend, and together we worked tirelessly to make our dream a reality. One of the key reasons we succeeded was because I sought out a business coach and completed a life coaching course. These steps were crucial in helping me cultivate a positive mindset, overcome my fears, and believe in my abilities. In our first year we were well on track to making 6 figures.
Eventually, my business partner and I decided to go our separate ways, and I embarked on a new adventure by opening another salon with a small team of three. This new business quickly grew, and we were earning £11k a month. However, the world changed drastically after the lockdown, and I decided it was time to leave the salon.
Despite the uncertainty, I didn’t let this setback hold me back. I moved my salon to a completely new area, running it from the comfort of my home. It was a scary transition, but I took the risk—and it paid off. My loyal clients followed me, and I was able to rebuild my business successfully.
For the past four years, I’ve been working from my log cabin, putting in 25 hours a week and consistently earning between £5k and £6k each month. This journey has shown me the power of self-belief and following a proven strategy.
